Thoughts

Dad you will never be forgotten by us all. As children we had everything we wanted and you gave us so much time to make special memories. Singing together when we were washing upon a Sunday lunchtime was such a laugh and mum and I sang it to you In your final hours (albeit out if tune) you were so happy on the day I got married smiling and enjoying ever minute of it. I often went fishing with you when I was small. I will always remember the time you thought I had fallen in when in fact I was trying to bring the fish in. When you became ill I was on hand to help you still do some of the things you wanted to do after moving to pevensey bay, the one thing that kept you laughing was when myself paul David Chris and Freddie took you to the beach for a swim, they went of and played ball in the sea while I stayed with you we went into the sea, you wearing a life jacket when I turned my back you were face down in the water I pulled you out and from that moment on you had great delight telling people how I tried to drown you. But the last thing I hoped you with was when mum and I dressed you up for the day centre Halloween party you loved having you face painted for it, and was very happy to win. These are just a few of the memories if you dad. You will always be with me in my heart and memories. Love you loads dad you see at peace now. Xxxx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
